La Federazione Calcistica del Principato di Seborga (FCPS) è stata fondata il 6 giugno 2014 tramite la sinergia tra il Console di Seborga in Francia Marcel Mentil ed il Presidente del Comitato Olimpico di Seborga Marcello Paris che firmarono il giorno medesimo l'affiliazione della Federazione all'Organizzazione Mondiale N.F.-Board tramite uno storico incontro avvenuto a Seborga con il Presidente di N.F.-Board Florent Costa ed il Segretario Generale Jean Luc Kit, alla presenza del Ministro per gli Affari Esteri di Seborga Nina Menegatto e del Ministro dello Sport Giuseppe Bernardi.

Nello stesso anno vengono poi coinvolti nel progetto anche Matteo Bianchini (in qualità di Direttore Sportivo e co-CT), Claudio Gazzano (che assumerà la carica di Presidente) e Linda Chittolini (Segretaria) i quali, provenienti dall'esperienza della Federazione Calcistica Tera Brigasca - Labaj - Riviera dei Fiori (anch'essa affiliata N.F.-Board) continueranno nel lavoro di collaborazione con entrambe le Federazioni Calcistiche.

Nell'agosto del 2014 la nazionale di calcio a 11 di Seborga esordisce ad Ospedaletti grazie alla locale squadra di calcio guidata da Fabrizio Gatti nella prima edizione del Trofeo 'Giorgio I' perdendo contro Sealand per 3-2 ma rifacendosi nel maggio dell'anno successivo quando ottiene la prima vittoria della sua storia, sempre ad Ospedaletti, contro il Bergamo Longuelo per 2-0 aggiudicandosi il trofeo 'Seborga Principato di Pace' ideato dal presidente dei bergamaschi Gianfranco Maria Guerra.

Nel 2015 viene disputato il primo Campionato Nazionale di Serie A del Principato di Seborga sponsorizzato dal Vivaio Patrone di Sanremo, un torneo a tre squadre (Cipressa, Borgio Verezzi ed Ospedaletti) vinto da questi ultimi. Sempre nel 2015 viene inoltre consegnata la Coppa Nazionale del Principato all'Unione Sanremo (Sanremese) vincitrice di un torneo di beneficenza dedicato al calciatore Sergio Martinez al quale partecipa, grazie all'iniziativa di Francesco Merlo Manco, Pino Ghersi e Tommaso Ciavaglioli, anche un club dedicato a Seborga, il Seborga Football Club.

La FCPS riprende poi le attività di calcio a 5, già fortemente sviluppate a Seborga negli anni passati, dando la possibilità di scendere in campo nell'agosto del 2015 alla nazionale biancazzurra che viene superata in casa dal TB-Labaj-RdF per 9-5 nella seconda edizione del trofeo 'Giorgio I'. Nel frattempo la Federazione riavvia i contatti con il Pro Seborga, club di calcio a 5 dedicato al Principato già capace di ottenere ottimi risultati in passato, al fine di tornare a partecipare a tornei ed eventi anche legati al football sala, disciplina simile al calcio a 5.

Nell'inverno del 2016 la nazionale disabili di football sala (categoria definita 'OPEN') di Seborga ha l'onore di affrontare l'Italia a Ventimiglia. La squadra di Seborga è gestita da Spes Auser Onlus di Ventimiglia e Seborga nel Mondo Onlus mentre la nazionale italiana è guidata dalla FIFS (Federazione Italiana Football Sala) del presidente Axel Paderni che invita i dirigenti della FCPS a considerare l'ipotesi di partecipare, sia come club sia come nazionale, anche ad altri tornei da loro organizzati nella categoria OPEN ma non solo.

A questo proposito il mese di giugno del 2016 diventa quindi molto importante per Seborga che vede la propria squadra nazionale ancora impegnata nel trofeo 'Giorgio I', questa volta in un triangolare con Tera Brigasca - Riviera dei Fiori e Toringhese, ed assiste anche al ritorno in campo della storica squadra Pro Seborga nell'Euro Mediterranean Cup di football sala svoltasi a Imperia.
 

Sempre a giugno la FCPS partecipa alla prima edizione del pallone d'oro del Ponente organizzata da 'Calcio Flash Ponente' al Casinò di Sanremo.

The Football Association of the Principality of Seborga (FCPS) was founded June 6, 2014 through the synergy between the Consul of Seborga in France Marcel Mentil and President of the Olympic Committee of Seborga Marcello Paris who signed the same day the affiliation of the Federation to the World Organization N.F.-Board by a historic meeting in Seborga with the President of the N.F.-Board Florent Costa and the Secretary General Jean Luc Kit, at the presence of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Seborga Nina Menegatto and Sports Minister Giuseppe Bernardi.

In the same year FCPS involved in the project also Matteo Bianchini (as Sporting Director and co-CT), Claudio Gazzano (which will assume the office of President) and Linda Chittolini (Secretary) which, from the experience of the Federation of Football Tera brigasca - Labaj - Riviera dei Fiori (also affiliated N.F.-Board) will continue working in collaboration with both Football associations. In August of 2014 the Seborga National Team makes his debut in Ospedaletti, thanks to the local football team led by Mr. Fabrizio Gatti, in the first edition of the Trofeo 'George I' losing 3-2 vs Sealand but referring in the following year when the national team get the first victory of its history, always in Ospedaletti, against the Bergamo Longuelo 2-0 by winning the trophy 'Seborga Principality of Peace' devised by the President of Bergamo Gianfranco Maria Guerra.

In 2015 it is played in the first National Championship of Serie A of the Principality of Seborga sponsored by 'Patrone flowers shop' of Sanremo, a tournament with three teams (Cipressa, Borgio Verezzi and Ospedaletti) won by the latter. Always in 2015 is also delivered the Principality National Cup to Unione Sanremo (Sanremese) winner of a charity tournament dedicated to the footballer Sergio Martinez in which participated, thanks to the initiative of Francesco Merlo Manco, Pino Ghersi and Tommaso Ciavaglioli, also a club dedicated to Seborga, the Seborga Football Club.

Then the FCPS resumed also football 5vs5 activities, already highly developed in Seborga in the past, giving a chance to national team to take the field in August of 2015. The team losed at home vs TB-Labaj-RdF for 9-5 in the second edition of the 'Giorgio I' Trophy. Meanwhile, the Federation appropriate contacts with Pro Seborga, foot5vs5 club dedicated to the Principality already able to get good results in the past, in order to return to participate in tournaments and events also linked to 'football sala', discipline similar to football 5vs5.

In the winter of 2016 the Seborga disabled national team of football sala (defined category 'OPEN') had the honor to face Italy in Ventimiglia. The Seborga disabled team is run by Spes Auser Onlus Ventimiglia and 'Seborga nel Mondo' Onlus and the Italian national team is led by FIFS (Italian Football Sala Federation) represented by his President Axel Paderni who invited the leaders of FCPS to consider the possibility of participating, either as a club and as a national, to other tournaments organized by them in the OPEN class, but not only.

In this regard then the month of June of 2016 becomes very important for Seborga which sees the national team still committed in George I Trophy, this time in a triangular with Tera Brigasca - Riviera dei Fiori and Toringhese , and also assists the return to the field of historic club Pro Seborga in the Euro Mediterranean Cup football sala held in Imperia.

Also in June the FCPS part in the first edition of the Golden Ball of Western Liguria organized by 'Calcio Flash Ponente' in the Sanremo Casinò.
