Qualche mese fa il Presidente della Bielorussia Alexander Lukashenko ha declinato gentilmente l’offerta di Banca Mondiale e FMI di inscenare anche nel suo paese una ‘emergenza covid’ con tanto di restrizioni, lockdown, coprifuoco, mascherine e tutte le pratiche che abbiamo potuto ‘apprezzare’ in questi mesi. Come lui hanno fatto anche altri governi ovviamente mai citati dai media italiani se non in chiave negativa. Queste sono le immagini giunte pochi giorni fa da una discoteca della capitale bielorussa Minsk. Scene che per i cittadini italiani o di altri Stati sottoposti ai vari tipi di restrizioni potrebbero sembrare provenienti da un altro pianeta…
La Bielorussia ha avuto finora circa 1.800 decessi attribuiti al cosiddetto ‘covid’. Come se in Italia, che ha una popolazione 6 volte maggiore, ve ne fossero stati 12.000 circa contro i circa 90.000 dichiarati. La capitale Minsk presenta peraltro una densità abitativa di 4.900 ab/km2 contro ad esempio i 3.000 ab/km2 di Bergamo per non parlare di un clima in cui un virus che ci dicono si attivi col freddo dovrebbe creare danni maggiori. Scenes that for Italian citizens or citizens of other states subject to various types of restrictions might seem to come from another planet...
